About IMPACT

Our Mission: to elevate interagency collaboration in the behavioral health field, with the goal of developing and maintaining a comprehensive resource guide that is free and accessible to everyone.

IMPACT stands for Interagency Movement for Patient Access, Care & Trust. It is a culmination of three years of community gatherings, program spotlights, research, and data collection. What was once the Spokane Outreach Networking Group (S.O.N.G.) is now a full-fledged 501(c)3 non-profit. Initially created by a small group of behavioral health professionals in the Inland Northwest, IMPACT now has stakeholders in ten states, covering the west coast and beyond with a community of support, increasing visibility, and providing more expedient access to care for families that are navigating crisis.

Since the first meeting in December 2022, the group has grown to include over 300 organizations, and gained the support of city, county, and state agencies. We were officially recognized as a 501(c)3 in April 2024, and earned tax-exemption status in June 2024.

Through collaborative meetings, the annual IMPACT Behavioral Health Resource Fair, and online tools such as the Comprehensive Resource Guide and social media groups, we are changing the way that both businesses and the community access care.
